Boriquen

A Novel of Puerto Rico

I started to write this novel about Puerto Rico from the years 900 to the present. I wrote about 800 pages and that at that time I was in the 1500's. I sent a proposal for publishers and they were interested, but no one would give any advance.

It took me at least 3 years to research. Sadly, I never finished the novel.

After my stroke when I went to go back to write, this year I started the novel again.

Nevertheless, from the novel I wrote a play for one of the characters, and it is titled "King of Dominoes" which has been produced.

In this story, which takes place in 1897, is the most important character, Dolores.

Silvestre, a character, starts the novel.
